Name : Chong Li Xin No Matrix : CIB 180021 Position : Leader of Logistic Planning Phase I still remember that when I first time know about this course is when the first briefing session of Social Engagement a day before my first mid sem break of first semester in University Malaya. To be frank, I was so surprised that a course that non-academic orientated exist in any university. I think it was a great idea to let students aware of their responsibilities towards community and learning variety of skills outside of study league.  Initially, I was stressed because I had zero experience on social engagement activities planning. For information, this is my first time joining or doing a group activity that involved with the society. Name: Heng Shu Ying No Matrix: CIB 180035 Position: Logistic Planning Phase I was in the logistics department for the visit to Home for The Angels. I was responsible for allocating transportation of our team to Home for The Angels, preparing food for our team members and the children in Home for The Angels. After we were arranged in groups and knew our own members, we had meetings to decide what place to visit. After setting Home for The Angels as our destination, Myra, Li Xin and I who were in the logistics department did some surveys and calculation to sort out the cheapest transportation plan within our budget. We decided to take MRT from the University of Malaya to Kajang, and then take GrabCar to reach there. However, due to the sudden change of the examination date, we needed to separate into two groups and one of the groups who will depart late. Name : Nur Myra Alia Binti Zaidul Hasmin No Matrix : CIB 180101 Position : Logistic Planning Phase I was appointed to be in the logistic unit where I had the responsibility in allocating for transportation to get to our destination and Home for the Angels was the chosen one. As we are in charge for transportation, Shu Ying, Li Xin and I did some findings for rental vans that meet with our budget which was RM 350 by calling some companies that do transportation services in Bangsar area. After a few weeks later, one of one group members luckily found a very cheap rental van and we decided to go with the van since the company offered us a really affordable price. Thus, as the name suggests, I have been given the responsibility to provide entertainments such as movies and songs for the children. I downloaded 3 songs for the children to do morning exercises. On top of that, I have also downloaded a few singing and dancing song for the children to play during their leisure. Not only that, but i have also downloaded a few moral short movies that have moral values so that the children can relate to the video and take the moral values as an example to help them to become a better person as they are growing. Our last day at Home for The Angels

In the morning from 7.00 a.m: This is our last day here. All of us woke up and help to arrange the chairs and tables. Then, we had breakfast together with the children there in the kitchen. Afterward, we cleaned up the kitchen and stack all the chairs and tables there at their original place. This is the breakfast that we had on our third day. 8.00-11.00 a.m - We have been told by the principle that today (Sunday) was an open day. This means that there will be a visitor from outside will come later in the afternoon. We have divided the task to do some small preparation for the visitors. Some of the kids were sweeping They also washed the toilet. Waiting for the visitors. 11.30a.m - As for boys, they need to carry some heavy stuff to upstairs and after that cleanup toilet and also mop the floor at the balcony. Half of us took care of the children downstairs while some others helped to cook for lunch We also helped with clean up the t...

Our second day at Home for the Angels

In the morning from 7.00 a.m: all of us woke up and help to arrange the chairs and tables. Then, we had breakfast together with the children there in the kitchen. While waiting for hiking time! 8.00-11.00 a.m - We asked the children to make two lines as a preparation to go out for hiking. Then, we went for hiking while chatting and taking care of the children. The view of the house from the Broga Sak Dato Temple 11.30a.m - As we arrive back to our staying place, half of us went upstairs to clean the toilet and also mop the floor at the balcony.
