Self Reflection of Our Project ! by Lei Yee

 Planning Phase
As a leader I need to arrange all the tentative program before visit Home for the Angel. First,  I need to create interesting and suitable program to the children at Home for the Angel. After we decide all the program details within all the member we decide have a first visit to Home for the Angel to discuss with the Person In Charge Joyce Lau. When we having small discussion about the program details Mrs Joyce Lau also give us many suggestion of the activities to make our event more success. After our visit to Home for the Angels it let me have more idea to create more interesting and education activities to them. I try to change the tentative program become more interesting ways and hand out proposal to our supervisor Dr Ong Lin Dar. After visit and hand out the proposal to supervisor and Mrs Joyce Lau, I still keep changing the tentative programme and arrange my group member to incharge some part of the activities. In this phase it is very challenges for me due to have some incident problem that make our process become difficult but luckily i success to overcome it and make this activities become successful.

Current Stage
At this phase, i really feel the stress and responsibility about to take care the children and my group member. During the first visit, regarding that some of the member that have accounting exam at morning so they depart after they finish their exam. The rest and I will depart at 8am and arrive there at 9am. I was very nervous that i scare i cannot do well and will make some mistake during this event. When we arrive I start to find the Teacher Lim that she will help arrange us for this 3 days 2 night. After she arrange us, Principal of Home for the Angel start brief us and I also discuss with the Principal what we will have to do for this 3 days 2 night. As she told me all of our tentative program might need postponed and need follow their activities.


I just follow their activities and keep updating from the Teacher there if have free time we will proceed our activities. I mostly keep updating the news and give instruction to my member what they should do for the next. I feel very sorry to the children due to my responsibility that i need to cover all the things and i not play with them at all time.



Although i did not have many time with them but i still manage to play, give advice and teach them. I really feel very happy when play and chat with them. I manage stop thinking my assignment and others things during this 3 days 2 night.


Ending Phase
After visit Home for the Angel, i start to think and asking myself we should grateful what we have and live in a good situation. Although they have facing many problem in their life but they still keep positive thinking to alive. I can learn from them we should grateful and thankful what we have for just now. Before I enter University or take this responsibility as a leader I am an introvert person. I will not steps out the first step to talk with others but after I take this responsibility I was force myself to steps out the first step. Now i feel i have many changes after joining this activities.

For information, this is my first time joining or doing a group activity that involved with the society. Name: Annalisa Patrick No. Matrics: CIB 180008 Position: Secretary Planning Phase During this stage, obviously we barely know each other yet.  Some of us recognise each other because currently joining the same project with different department, some of us passed each other before at faculty and some never even met.  The ice between our member at first is really thick and we never have a complete attendance during meetings yet.
